I never get tired of my clients telling me that my personality and energy added to to their event. This makes every wedding I shoot is a special experience deserving its own masterpiece of photography. The freedom for me to create is limitless. What is "True" Photojournalism?
The increasing popularity of photojournalistic (or sometimes called documentary) style photography has raised the appropriate question... What is true photojournalism? I can sum it up in one sentence. Photojournalism is the contiguous capture of moments that would have occurred even if the photographer were not there to witness and photograph them. This style of photography made famous by magazines like Time, Life, and National Geographic to name a few. Today, wedding couples, event planners, celebrities, corporations, and ad agencies are gravitating to this style and many photographers are claiming this style as their own as a result. But, buyer beware! It is likely that many do not have the experience and unique skills of a photojournalistic photographer to substantiate their claim. My style has always been photojournalistic and is backed by years of experience including photography in over 60 countries as well as an award winning street photography and fine art collection this style is my fingerprint. Honestly, my husband and I had a small budget for our little backyard wedding but we decided to splurge a on the photographer. Greg had so many options I truly felt like I paid for exactly what I needed and nothing more. Though his gallery of images are breathtaking, I didn't choose him for his talents. I chose him because I could hear in his voice how much passion he has for his work! And that didn't stop for the entire planning process. We contracted Greg to photograph our daughter's wedding after interviewing numerous other photographers. As an amateur photographer myself, I was able to ask technical questions and realized he was in a class above the others. He is very knowledgeable, professional and very gregarious. He's a pleasure to work with.
Greg visited the venue in advance of the wedding. He sent us photos of places at the venue where he could take those "special" photographs of the couple and shared his plans via email or text with both my daughter and I.
Greg was so thorough that he sent us charts indicating the weather conditions and positions of the sun so that we could understand the optimal lighting conditions. His planning was flawless.
We had close to 100 guests at the wedding. Many were complimentary of Greg saying that he made them feel at ease and that the photos he showed of them were AMAZING!

Outstanding! We used Greg for our engagement photos and there really are not enough words to explain the level of professionalism and talent my fiancé experienced working with Greg.
